Trading on a Baofa curve is a direct exchange with the protocol's core contract. There is no counterparty order and no routing: the price you receive is the one the curve formula produces at the moment your transaction is included.
Before You Start#
| Requirement | Detail |
|---|---|
| Network | BNB Smart Chain mainnet, chain id 56. The app offers to switch or add the network |
| Wallet | any wallet that injects the standard EVM provider: browser extensions (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Binance Wallet, OKX Wallet, Phantom, Bitget, TokenPocket, Rabby, SafePal), the Coinbase Wallet extension, app or smart wallet, and the built-in browsers of mobile wallets, which the app opens through each wallet's own link. WalletConnect is not offered at launch |
| Balance | BNB for the purchase plus gas. A curve buy is a single transaction and costs a routine amount of gas |
| Coin units | Baofa coins have 6 decimals and a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000 per coin |
Buying#
- Open the coin from the market page or by its address.
- Enter the BNB you want to spend. The app quotes the coins you will receive, the fee split and the price impact from the live curve state.
- Set your slippage tolerance. The transaction carries a minimum number of coins out; if the curve moved too far before inclusion, the transaction reverts instead of filling at a worse price.
- Confirm in your wallet.
The contract call is buyExactIn(coin, spendableQuoteIn, minTokensOut, partialFill, buybackIndex, deadline), payable with the BNB you spend. Fees are charged on top of the curve cost: of every 1 BNB of curve cost you pay about 0.0125 BNB in fees (0.95 percent protocol, 0.30 percent creator). The app shows the exact numbers before you sign.
Selling#
- Open the coin and switch to Sell.
- Enter the amount of coins. The app quotes the BNB you will receive after fees.
- If this is your first sale of the coin, approve the core contract to move your coins. The app shows this as step one of two.
- Confirm the sale.
The contract call is sell(coin, amount, minQuoteOut, buybackIndex, deadline). Fees are deducted from the proceeds at the same rates as buys. The proceeds are sent to your wallet in BNB; if your wallet is a contract that refuses plain BNB, the protocol delivers WBNB instead so that a sale can never be stuck.
Deadlines and Slippage#
Every trade carries a deadline (a Unix timestamp) and a bound on the other side of the trade. Both protect you against transactions that sit in the mempool: a late or badly priced trade reverts and costs only gas.
| Field | Buy | Sell |
|---|---|---|
| Bound | minTokensOut |
minQuoteOut |
| Default in the app | 1 percent slippage, adjustable | 1 percent slippage, adjustable |
| Deadline | 20 minutes from signing | 20 minutes from signing |
After Graduation#
Once a coin has graduated, the curve no longer trades it. The app routes buys and sells to the coin's PancakeSwap v2 pair through the PancakeSwap router, and the standard PancakeSwap pool fee of 0.25 percent applies instead of the curve fees. Your coins are the same ERC-20 before and after graduation; nothing needs to be migrated on your side.
Reading a Trade#
Every curve trade emits one Trade event from the core contract with the coin, the trader, the direction, the amounts, the fees and the curve reserves after the trade. Block explorers decode it, and the Indexer API serves it per coin and per wallet.
