Frenzy Mode

The protocol's own capped, time-boxed trading programme for coins launched with the Frenzy flag, and the limits that keep it harmless.

Updated 2026-11-04Contracts baofa-rewrite-2026-11-04-a727bfe

Frenzy mode (狂暴模式) is a launch option in the core contract. A coin created with the Frenzy flag is traded for a limited time by the protocol's own trading programme, the Frenzy diamond, on top of ordinary market activity. The programme is bounded by caps, a time window and a burn at the end, all enforced on chain.

How a Frenzy Coin Differs#

Aspect Plain coin Frenzy coin
Supply minted at creation 1,000,000,000 to the curve 1,000,000,000 to the curve plus a second 1,000,000,000 held by the Frenzy diamond's vault
Market cap calculation live supply the curve's fixed supply of 1,000,000,000, so the second supply never inflates the displayed cap
Buyback share of the protocol fee as configured none
Community takeover, multi-hop routing available refused
End of the programme n/a the vault's remaining coins are burned (burnTokens, permissionless)

After the burn the coin's supply is 1,000,000,000 minus whatever the programme sold net, so a Frenzy coin can only end with a supply at or below a plain coin's.

The Trading Programme#

The Frenzy diamond's trader is a single signer set by the Frenzy admin. Every trade it makes passes these checks in the contract:

Check Launch configuration
Trading not paused by the admin
The coin's window has not ended 24 hours from creation
Activation threshold reached the curve must hold at least 1 BNB of real reserves before the first programme trade
Price band each trade carries a reference price and a tolerance; the trade reverts if the venue's price is outside the band
Per-trade cap 2 BNB
Per-coin deployed cap 100 BNB net
Overall deployed cap 1,000 BNB net across all Frenzy coins
Retained reserve a buy may consume at most a configured fraction of the venue's real BNB reserves

The programme's frenzyBuy and frenzySell calls go through the core's ordinary trade paths, so its trades appear as normal Trade events (with a FrenzyTrade event alongside), pay into the same reserves and obey the same maths. The protocol's fee-exempt whitelist can name only the Frenzy diamond or nobody (WhitelistAccountNotFrenzyModule), and the Frenzy trader can never be the buyer that completes a curve.

Sweeps and Withdrawals#

BNB that the programme earns on a coin is swept to the protocol's Frenzy fee recipients (eight recipient slots, the same pattern as the core) with a per-call cap of 50 BNB and an admin-set interval. Withdrawals of deployed BNB by the Frenzy admin are rate-limited by the same parameters. All of it is visible in the Frenzy diamond's events (FrenzyFeesSwept, FrenzyVaultWithdrawn, FrenzyParamsUpdated).

In the App#

Surface What it shows
Create the Frenzy option, with its explanation, when the flag is on; the review step names the second supply
Coin page a Frenzy panel: the window's status (active with a countdown, closed and awaiting its burn, or burned), the window's times, the programme's net BNB in the coin against the per-coin limit, what the vault still holds or has burned, the programme's trade count, whether the programme has activated, its latest trades, and the Burn button once the window has closed
Discover, Board, tables a Frenzy badge next to the coin's stage
Frenzy Mode page (/app/frenzy) the programme's parameters and the vault's BNB read from the chain; totals, active windows, closed windows awaiting their burn, the latest programme trades and the vault ledger from the indexer

The programme's own trades are sent by its trader key and never from the app. The one action the app offers is the burn, which any wallet may send once a window has closed. Programme state is read from the Frenzy diamond directly (frenzyState, params, trackedCoinBalance, vaultBalance); the indexer supplies the history through /v1/frenzy/summary, /v1/frenzy/coins, /v1/frenzy/coins/{coin}, /v1/frenzy/trades and /v1/frenzy/ledger (see Indexer API).

What It Is Not#

  • It is not a guarantee of price. The programme trades inside a band around a reference price and within caps; it can lose money and it can stop at any time.
  • It does not give the programme any privilege on the curve beyond fee exemption through the whitelist. It cannot mint, pause, blacklist or take anyone's coins.
  • It does not survive the window. After 24 hours the only remaining action is the burn, which anyone can call.

The generated interface is on the Frenzy Reference page.
