Trading#

Why did I receive fewer coins than the preview showed? The curve moved between your preview and your confirmation, usually because another trade landed first. Your slippage setting bounds the difference; a larger move reverts the transaction instead. See Trading.

What happens to my coins when a curve completes? Nothing. They stay in your wallet and become tradable on PancakeSwap v2 as soon as anyone calls migrate. See Graduation.

Can I sell back into the curve after graduation? No. After graduation the curve holds no reserves; trading continues on the PancakeSwap pair and the app routes there automatically.

Why is there a 1.25 percent fee on curve trades and 0.25 percent after? On the curve, 0.95 percent funds the protocol and 0.30 percent goes to the creator. On PancakeSwap, only the pool's own 0.25 percent applies; Baofa takes nothing there. See Fees.

Launching#

How much does it cost to launch a coin? Gas only. There is no creation fee. An optional first buy costs whatever you choose to spend plus fees.

Can I change my coin's name, image or description later? The name and symbol are fixed on chain. The description, image and links live in the metadata document you host, which you can update. See Launching and The Metadata Document.

Can I mint more coins or change the supply? No. Every coin's supply is 1,000,000,000, minted once; the coin contract has no mint function and no owner. See The Coin Contract.

Who owns the PancakeSwap liquidity after graduation? Nobody. The liquidity tokens are sent to the dead address in the graduation transaction.

Can I set my own creator fee? On BNB-quoted coins the creator share is fixed at 0.30 percent. Custom rates exist in the contract for token-quoted coins only, and no token quote is registered at launch. See Creator Fees and Sharing.

Safety#

How do I know a coin is a real Baofa coin? Read core() on the coin and compare it with the core address on the Addresses page. Imitations can copy names and artwork but not that.

Why does a transfer to the PancakeSwap pair fail before graduation? By design. The coin refuses transfers to its own pair until it graduates, so nobody can seed the pair early at a false price.

Can the team pause trading or blacklist a wallet? No. The core has no pause function and no blacklist. See Architecture.

Can the team upgrade the contracts? The diamonds are upgradeable by their owner. At deployment the owner is the deployer key; the timelocked multisignature structure is applied by ownership transfer. See Roles and Governance for the current state.

Which channels are official? The website baofa.fun and the X account @baofadotfun. The protocol has no other account, no Telegram group and no team members who message first. Contract addresses are published only on the Addresses page.

Has the protocol been audited? Two automated scans have been completed and their findings fixed. A manual audit has been commissioned and its report is not yet published. See Assurance and External Reviews.

The Protocol Token#

Does holding BAOFA reduce my fees or give me a share of revenue? No. The protocol token has no function inside the contracts. See The Protocol Token.

Did the team allocate itself tokens? No. There is no allocation. Any coins the deployer holds were bought on the curve and are visible as trades from the deployer address.

Using the App#

Which wallets work? Any wallet that injects the standard provider into the browser on BNB Smart Chain: browser extensions such as MetaMask, Binance Wallet and OKX Wallet, and the built-in browsers of mobile wallets. WalletConnect is not offered at launch.

The app shows an older price than my wallet's last transaction. Why? Lists and charts come from the indexer, which follows the chain a few blocks behind the head. Your wallet balance and the chain are always the record; the app catches up on its own.

Is there a testnet? There is no public testnet deployment. Addresses on other networks are not the protocol's.
